Will Smith Starts Filming His Second Movie following the Disappointing AFTER EARTH

Following the disappointing outing of his movie After Earth, Will Smith has got two movies scheduled for release in 2014; the supernatural drama Winter’s Tale which he features in and a drama-comedy titled Focus which he headlines.

Production of Winter’s Tale has been completed and the movie which has a budget of $46 Million is set for release on the 14th of February 2014. Check out the synopsis of the movie which stars Colin Farrell, Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly and William Hurt below:

Set in 1916 and present-day Manhattan, Winter’s Tale follows the story of Peter Lake (Colin Farrell). Peter Lake is a thief who falls in love with Beverly Penn (Jessica Brown Findlay), a dying girl who occupies one of the houses he breaks into. Lake is saved from the insane gangster Pearly Soames (Russell Crowe) and his gang of thugs by Athansor, a mysterious white horse who becomes his guardian angel.

Unlike Winter’s Tale whose production has been completed, filming of Focus which is being directed by Glenn Ficarra & John Requa just began last month therefore the movie is yet to get an official release date but we do have a plot outline for the movie via its wiki page.

Nicky Spurgeon, a professional con artist, takes a young, attractive woman under his wing. They get involved romantically but that becomes perilous in a business where they lie and cheat for a living. The complications of the encounter haunt them when they meet up again in the future. Complicating matters even more, Nicky finds himself at odds with another suitor for the girl’s affections, as well as a run-in with a former flame…all before the heist of a lifetime.

We’ll keep you updated on developments while we continue to hope that someday Jerry Bruckheimer, Will and Martin Lawrence bring us Bad Boys 3.
