In the midst of a rash of injuries and following a 3-1 loss to Premier League minnow Hull City, Liverpool needed a boost against another struggling side in Norwich. And Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez decided to provide that boost himself.
Suarez completed a hat trick within the first 35 minutes of the match and added a fourth goal in the second half on the way to a 5-1 win for Liverpool. And each goal demonstrated different aspects of the talent that makes him one of the best strikers in the world. His first goal came in the 15th minute and it was a beautiful 40-yard bomb that arched into the net, prompting quick nominations for goal of the season.
